We are located in Bellinzona, in the centre of Ticino, at via Artore 14B.
We are just a few minutes from the centre and are conveniently served by public transport (bus line 4 to Artore, from the Bellinzona railway station).
We have a partnership with the city taxi service, our guests pay only 10.- CHF for the transfer from the station to The Window (after booking in advance at the following link: www.mini-taxi.com).
Free garage for all reservations directly from this official website with direct access to the second floor with lift.
Two comfortable electric bicycles are available for guests.
There are several footpaths in the vicinity to the city centre, the medieval castles (a UNESCO World Heritage site) and the Motto della Croce.
The Bellinzona area is the centre of Ticino and makes it easy to reach both the south and the north, passing through the Locarno region. Lugano and Locarno are only 15 minutes by train from Bellinzona. The upper valleys of Ticino, which offer numerous and varied mountain walks, are easily accessible. The ideal starting point for visiting a Canton that offers the wonder of the lakes and the excitement of the mountains just a few kilometres away.
The Window is located between Montebello Castle and Sasso Corbaro Castle, a scenic spot that is part of the Grand Tour of Switzerland. The castles and the little yellow church are within easy walking distance, ideal for a sunset picnic, souvenir photos and moments of meditation.
